EB-5 Program Extended Through December 7, 2018

Categories:

Today, President Trump signed a spending package that includes a short-term continuing resolution (CR) extending the EB-5 Regional Center Program through December 7, 2018.

We at GreenAccess continue to believe the EB-5 Program will soon see significant changes, chief among them an increase in the minimum investment amount. US Congressman Aaron Schock speaking about a month ago said, “So the price is going to go up. We can’t tell you the day for certain but it’s going to happen.” He added that the expected increase is somewhere between USD 1 million and 1.3 million.

We continue to believe EB-5 Programing is poised for reform and long-term reauthorization. The expectation is that Congress and the EB-5 industry will work closely to gain consensus on the EB-5 Program going forward.

Now is the time for immigrant investors with files ready to execute to begin the process. GreenAccess has many suitable public school investment projects open and currently accepting investors.

Owing to our safe, predictable process and investment in Florida public school projects, there are currently more than 1,000 investors in 44 schools funded and open, or under construction. More than 700 GreenAccess investors have been approved and are now living in the U.S.

More than 400 individuals and their families now enjoy permanent legal residency in the U.S.

As additional information becomes available regarding EB-5 Programming and its impact on immigrant investors, GreenAccess will continue to update you.
