REGIONAL CENTER PROGRAM EXTENDED
December 27, 2020 — The EB-5 Regional Center Program was again extended, through June 30, 2021, as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021. Its separation from future federal spending bills, to many legal and legislative professionals, signals potential renewed focus on EB-5 Immigration Program efficiency and reform.
EXEMPTION FROM IMMIGRATION SUSPENSION
GreenAccess EB-5 Projects, and the U.S. EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, have been extended as exempt from the 2020 Executive Order that suspended certain types of U.S. Immigration. The extension is in place through March 2021.
